We recommend to our customers to use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express to all of our business customers, However, we realize that many customers are frequently on the go and might need to check there email away from the office. Therefore, we supply 3 different web based e-mail programs to our customers.
Using the built in Web based e-mail utilities that come with Hire Intelligence Web hosting is easy. Just follow these steps.
- go to http://www.yoursitename.com/webmail (enter your website name where it says yoursitename)
- Login using your full email address and password
- you will see a screen similar to this
- Simply pick any of the three available e-mail programs to view/edit/send e-mail (we’ll use Horde as an example) they all work basically the same. (You might have to “Login” again with Horde and SquirrelMail)
- All the Programs work very similar to any of the other current web based email programs such as yahoo email, aol and Googles Gmail.
Just remember, as with many of the other web based programs, your “Browser” cache can have an effect on viewing emails, you might want to “Refresh” the page to be sure to view the most current emails or delete the browser cache before going to the email page. This is especially important if you are sharing your computer with another user and you both have a email address located on the server with the same domain name.
